DOG'S DESCRIPTION

This sweet gal was found in the middle of the night on a Georgia country road.  She was so stressed out and uncared for, she ended up with Demodectic Mange. She had no hair, pink as a newborn baby, and was covered with open scabs throughout her body; this mange is not contagious and is totally treatable.   As uncomfortable as Aloe was because of the mange she never stopped wagging her tail and giving hugs since her arrival!  She is now in a foster home (with many other sibling dogs) and was given medicated baths to help her heal; she has some scarring tissues on her body, especially on her face but she is as sweet and happy as ever.  Her mange has been fully treated and except for the scars she's as good as new! She loves sleeping on her back and snores loudly; she especially loves cuddling with her foster mom on the couch and running around in the yard with her siblings.  She has a beautiful spirit and deserves a home that will give her all the love she so deserves!

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (for dogs over 6 months old), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.
